Conference “Supported gold nanoparticles. Efficient heterogeneous catalysts for oxidation reactions and C-C couplings in liquid phase”-21/03 21 March 2022

Conference “Supported gold nanoparticles. Efficient heterogeneous catalysts for oxidation reactions and C-C couplings in liquid phase”-21/03

Today, March 21, we were able to enjoy the online conference “Supported gold nanoparticles. Efficient heterogeneous catalysts for oxidation reactions and C-C couplings in liquid phase” given by Prof. Dr Bachir Redouane (University of Abou bekr Belkaïd – Tlemcen– Algeria). This conference belongs to the TNNT2022 course of the Doctoral Program in Nanoscience and Materials Technologies.

Prof. Bachir Redouane has obtained his Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Poitiers France in 1995 after a DEA in applied chemistry (1992 University of Poitiers France) and a DES in chemistry from the University of Tlemcen Algeria in 1991.

He joined the University of Tlemcen in 1996 as Professor of Chemistry and progressed to become Professor of Chemistry in 2006.

Prof. Bachir Redouane is a founding member of the Laboratory of Catalysis and Synthesis in Organic Chemistry at the University of Tlemcen Algeria. He participated with other colleagues in the year 2000 in its creation and then became head of this laboratory from 2008 to 2016.

Prof. Bachir is a specialist in heterogeneous catalysis and his research focuses on the synthesis of nanocatalysts and subnanomaterials. These catalysts are used in biomass valorisation, one-pot synthesis of molecules by C-C coupling and oxidation of organic molecules.
