Dr. José María Palacios Santander, Dr. Laura Cubillana Aguilera and Dr. Juan José García Guzmán, are serving as the Guest Editors of the Special Issue “Game Changer Nanomaterials: A New Concept for Biosensing Applications” in Sensors, an Open Access journal.

This Special Issue aims to collect novel and interesting new approaches of nanomaterials being applied in the biosensing field. Importantly, due to new research paths, not only will biosensors be considered, but also nanomaterials-based sensors that may compete with the classical idea of biosensors. It is now open for submission of full research articles and comprehensive reviews. We cordially invite you to contribute with a paper to this thematic issue. All submissions are peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be published immediately.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

Biosensors and chemical sensors
Nanomaterials
Polymeric nanostructured materials
Electrochemical, optical, and mass biosensors
Environmental, biomedical, and agrifood applications
Nanomaterials-based non-enzymatic sensors
Sensor arrays

Find more details of this special issue here

The submission deadline is 31 May 2022.

We cordially invite you to submit your next research paper to this thematic issue. In order for us to plan for the whole project, please could you inform us as soon as you can as to whether you wish to contribute a paper.

The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this Open Access journal is 2200 CHF (Swiss Francs). However, we will ask the Editorial Office for a personalized special discount for researchers interested in this special issue.
