The Spanish Society of Materials (Sociemat) is a non-profit association for the development of Science and Engineering of Materials in its research, industrial and educational aspects. Founded in 1996, it seeks to encompass the various thematic groups in the field of materials in Spain.

IMEYMAT just joined Sociemat as an institutional partner with the aim that forces are combined in the field of materials and to keep on trying on the promotion and dissemination of the relevant research and development work within the framework of Science, Engineering and Materials Technology.
