Summer School, Electron Microscopy: seeing atoms in functional materials 24 May 2018

Summer School, Electron Microscopy: seeing atoms in functional materials

In July, Universidad Complutense de Madrid organizes a Summer School, among which we highlight the course Electron Microscopy: seeing atoms in functional materials. This course will be held on July 16 to 20 and will participate our co-workers José J. Calvino Gámez and Juan Carlos Hernández Garrido.

The purpose of this course is to initiate the students in the most advanced techniques in electron microscopy for its application in materials science, to establish the bases for the training of personnel specialized in the use of this equipment and to divulge the possibilities offered by electronic microscopy in the business world.

Our colleagues will be part of a round table on How to use the data obtained by transmission electron microscopy: Tomography. Also, Dr. Calvino will give the conference Microscopy of correcting aberrations and model nanostructures. Trying to understand the behaviour of supported catalysts.

The program of this course is in the next link.
