One of IMEYMAT’s strategic objectives is to ‘transform the knowledge and technologies developed in its laboratories into advances for society.’ Another is to ‘promote scientific and technical collaborations at the local and global levels,’ which includes entering into I+D+i contracts with companies.
Throughout their history, IMEYMAT researchers have collaborated with more than 100 companies, through more than 400 contracts, in the development of a wide range of products and services, including: construction, the aerospace and naval sectors, semiconductors, polymer- or metal-based additive manufacturing, composite materials, sensors, renewable energy production, catalysts, material recycling, and actions for the conservation of monumental heritage.
