One of IMEYMAT’s strategic objectives is “to transform the knowledge and technologies developed in its laboratories into benefits for society”. Another is “to promote scientific and technical collaborations at local and global levels”, which includes entering into R&D&I contracts with companies.
Throughout their history, researchers at IMEYMAT have collaborated with over 100 companies, through more than 400 contracts, on the development of a wide range of products and services, including: construction, the aerospace and shipbuilding sectors, semiconductors, polymer- or metal-based additive manufacturing, composite materials, sensors, renewable energy production, catalysts, materials recycling, and initiatives for the conservation of historic monuments.
