Description of the infrastructure:

Programmable SEM microscope, capable of in situ testing

 

Services currently offered and possible applications in other fields:

  • Tungsten tip
  • Characterization of samples with SE, BSE, and EDXS maps
  • 4-quadrant BSE detector for 3D characterization of samples of interest
  • Sample holder with heating-cooling in the range of -25 ˚C to +160 ˚C
  • Feedthrough port to be able to make electrical connections for on-site electrical tests
  • Optical characterization with cathodoluminescence detector in the optical range of 350 nm – 850 nm.
  • Scripting to automate experiments
  • Remote access
