Description of the infrastructure:
Programmable SEM microscope, capable of in situ testing
Services currently offered and possible applications in other fields:
- Tungsten tip
- Characterization of samples with SE, BSE, and EDXS maps
- 4-quadrant BSE detector for 3D characterization of samples of interest
- Sample holder with heating-cooling in the range of -25 ˚C to +160 ˚C
- Feedthrough port to be able to make electrical connections for on-site electrical tests
- Optical characterization with cathodoluminescence detector in the optical range of 350 nm – 850 nm.
- Scripting to automate experiments
- Remote access
